Abigail – One Year Old Portraits

Abigail turned one. Here are some of my favorites of her lifestyle portrait session.

Naiya – Newborn Portraits

I had only a short period of time to shoot Naiya’s newborn shoot. We had beautiful window light coming in from the floor to ceiling windows high on the 16th floor.

Ishana – Newborn Portraits

Ishana is my first newborn model and she was lovely. Sorry Jaymin you don’t technically count being my son and all. Her mom and I had plans to do a maternity shoot in April, but this little angel decided she wanted to experience the world a bit early. We didn’t get a chance to do any baby bump pics but her mom was really excited to let me try my hand at newborn pictures. Here are some of the images we captured.

Sarju P. – Maternity

I had the opportunity to photograph a great friend who is expecting her first child. She was beautiful and lasted an entire day of shooting. Maternity shoots like these are great when mommy-to-be and baby are energetic and willing to try everything.

Neeta K. – Headshot

Neeta needed a picture of herself for her residency applications. Originally she was told these pictures had to be similar to a passport picture. Boring, I know, but she had to do what her advisor suggested. She chose to use the passport picture we took of her in 2009. But wait a minute! She later found out other applicants were using more stylized headshots - some even glamor shots from high school!!! So for her next round of applications we shot something less clinical and with a little bit more style. We purposefully avoided making it too casual or glam and kept it a bit more professional. I tossed in a picture I took from her graduation because our family is really proud of her accomplishments.
